Project Description

Farmfit is a family business with unrivalled experience at the heart of the agricultural industry. FarmFit can provide a full fitting and installation service of their agricultural tubing products, like Gates, Fencing, Yokes. Barriers, Cubicles etc.

FarmFit was originally part of the Robinsons family, another of our clients. The task was to create a memorable name as well as the corporate identity. This then lead to a 32 page brochure, a website and exhibition signage and displays which were used for both The Royal Highland Show and The Great Yorkshire Show.

Naming the Company

After our initial meeting, in which we gleaned the companys ethos, products, aims and processes from, we researched their competition to make sure we stayed away from creating branding that was too close to someone elses and that FarmFit was the brand that “stood out”. We then sat together as a group of creatives and had a traditional brainstorm session where we came up with some possible names for their business. After going away for a few days and thinking creatively about it, the creative group came back together with some more possibilities where a shortlist was made for presentation to the client. And FarmFit was born.

After the logo was designed it was applied to stationery in a creative way which was then used to help brand the brochure and website.

Working closely with FarmFit marketing staff, the brochure was designed using the text and images supplied to us. Quality control of available images was used to get the best visual impact and impression, and using the logo elements throughout the brochure underlined the brand. The proofing process was important in getting the correct content and several proofs went back and forward to the client to ensure perfection of the final piece.

The website for FarmFit needed to be a shopping cart system as they would long-term be actively selling products online. But with an added caveat that they would not be selling products online straight away. We were able to deal with this request by using a shopping cart system but using it in “catalogue mode” which means it is browsed as an information only or “awareness” site, but can be switched to online shop mode at the click of a button. The brand was taken from the completed brochure and logo then applied throughout the website, again bolstering the FarmFit identity. The website was to be maintained by FarmFit staff so after a few hours of training delivery to them, the site was ready to handover and “GoLive”. The website is very easy to update and maintain and is not labour intensive. We are always ready to take calls and emails as part of our ongoing support.

Signage and Exhibition Material

Any brand has to work well in any media in any situation and as the groundwork had been done at the design stage with that in mind it was easy to produce eye-catching and effective exhibition and signage material for FarmFit. Quickly turned around FarmFit were ready, complete with brochures, business cards and website for the annual agricultural show season.
