We're an energetic and hard working team, with an increase in workload we are now looking for our next members. The start of 2017 saw the next step in Hoggett Creatives' journey, with a move to a larger premises and the investment in a new digital Xerox printer and print finishing equipment.

 

 

Graphic Designer / Studio Manager

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a talented, Creative Graphic Designer / Studio Manager to join our small and friendly expanding Design, Print, Web and Photography led agency, based in Annan, Dumfries & Galloway.

We are looking for someone who’s passionate about the design process with a stand-out portfolio, ideally with a minimum of 5 years studio experience who is a confident and effective communicator. You'll be instrumental in contributing to the everyday output of the studio, responsible for taking solutions from initial concept to final completion. Taking full ownership of work that leaves the studio to represent Hoggett Creative in the world at large. 

You'll work closely with our Directors, team members, suppliers and most importantly clients.

Digital Printer / Finisher / Artworker

Do you know your silk from your matt?
Do you know your A5 from your 6pp DL?
Do you know your toner from your fuser?
Do you know your 120gsm from your 300gsm?
Do you know your gutter from your bleed?
Do you know your leading from your kerning?

If you answer yes to the above questions, it sounds like the following role might be for you...

 

DIGITAL PRINTER - We are running a state-of-the-art Xerox digital press. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise workload to deliver deadlines. This role can be physically demanding while handling stock and packaging finished items. Also a knowledge of print finishing equipment (guillotines, booklet maker and lamination) will be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.

ARTWORKING - You will need to love the detail and accuracy of artworking at speed within a fast-moving setting, combining print and production. Checking digital artwork and proofs, printed jobs must be completed to supplied brief and specifications. Working in a Mac environment, with a good knowledge of Adobe based applications (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) are required to a high standard. These skills are key to this position. 

The successful candidate will liaise closely with Management and Creative Team on a regular basis and be on hand whenever you’re required to assist with the progression of projects.
